It's our pleasure to announce that Society for Soybean Research and Development (SSRD) is organising its first International Soybean Research Conference (SOYCON-2014) in collaboration with the Directorate of Soybean Research and Indian Council of Agricultural Research on 22-24 February, 2014 at Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.
The spread of soybean in India is unprecedented and the city of Indore has been the epicentre of soybean revolution in India. Notwithstanding the gains made, the productivity constraints in soybean remain challenging. Keeping this in view the theme of SOYCON-2014 "Mitigating productivity constraints in soybean for sustainable agriculture", will provide an ideal platform to research scientists, managers, manufacturers, farmers and students to share their views on the theme. The event is divided into 6 symposia covering a wide range of topics under sub-themes dealt by eminent scientists from various countries.
Being organized in a fast developing agri-business hub, SOYCON-2014 will also be an ideal forum for soy-industry and agri-input manufacturers to showcase their technologies / products.
We look forward to extend our hospitality to all guests of SOYCON-2014 at Indore.
